How does India Tree work?
Midges and mosquitoes find their victims by odours given off in sweat. The scent of Neem confuses them so they can’t find you. India Tree Herbal Insect Repellent was developed from careful research, at the University of Edinburgh and the Scottish Agricultural College, on one of the most feared biting insects, the Highland Midge.

How do I use India Tree Herbal Insect Repellent?
Apply to exposed areas of the skin every 3 hours or as required.

Whats in it?
Ethanol (alcohol), Eutanol (vegetable emollient), Aqua (water), cold pressed Neem oil (Azadirachita indica) and the essential oils Bergamot, Rosemary and Eucalyptus.

What are midges and mosquitoes?
Midges and mosquitoes suck blood from the skin, causing itching and swelling that can last several days. Midges are tiny, only 1.4mm long, and are active from June to October. They don’t spread diseases in the UK but can reach very high numbers in many places including the Scottish Highlands and the Lake District. Mosquitoes are much bigger than midges, between 5 and 10mm, and in many parts of the world spread diseases such as malaria.

Does India Tree work for mosquitoes?
The Neem tree originates from Southern India, where it has been used for centuries for its health promoting and protective properties. Neem oil is traditionally burnt to repel disease-carrying mosquitoes. Scientific research has now confirmed the effectiveness of this powerful natural repellent.

Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid when pregnant. Keep out of reach of children.
