NeemCo is an independent dynamic Scottish company based on the shores of Loch Lomond. We are dedicated to the
development of safe, effective and environmentally friendly products
based upon extracts from the Neem tree (Azadirachtca indica). We commercialize natural pest controls based on specific, quantitatively defined, extracts from the neem tree, which has been used in South India for thousands of years, as a source of medicines as well as for its repellent and toxic effects on insects.
NeemCo, together with its sister company, have a patented product derived from the natural product to pharmaceutical standards. It is approved for use on food crops as a pest control, in human health, and as a treatment for ectoparasites on sheep throughout Europe and beyond.
NeemCo has significant understanding and experience in gaining, or working within, the EU approval routes in various markets. Registration and Approval can be argued to be far more complex and time consuming that product development. At NeemCo all products are firmly based on scientific research in collaboration with institutions such as the University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh, London School of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, and the Scottish Agricultural College. |
